we had our class lunch at Rice Table at Int'l Building, it's an Indonesian restaurant.
we had the buffet, so they serve everything first (in small portions), then whatever you want more of, you can just order from there.
the food was really good, i like the veggie stew, prawns and satay.

gathered around DT after most of us were full, listened to lilin share with us her past(which was pretty surprising), then DT on his past.
it's so heartwarming that DT shared with us pretty personal stuff, though it's partly concealed by the way he says it.
lilin said "don't talk in bushes" when she meant don't beat around the bush. hahaha!

i'm so happy with myself, i ran 8 rounds today!
in the morning, during chinese break, with Lilin.
she's so nice to run with me tho she runs much better than me.
after we washed up and changed back to our uniforms it was already econs lecture, so we blew the four period break on running.

it kind of kept me awake the whole day (which ended at 1:30, haha)

BIO WAS SO BORING.
it was the start of yet another lecture by Mrs. Michelle Ang, and she always starts her lectures by getting students to discuss and answer questions about the new chapter.
she probably just wants to arouse some interest about the new chapter, but i think it's a perfect waste of time, she encourages us to pen down creative answers when we don't know the answers.
?!?!?!?i don't get the point of it.
and her notes are crammed to the max.
it's super wordy, worse than human geog notes!

oh, today was the first time i really paid attention in econs tutorial, cos yesterday was the first time i did my work.
if you manage to plough through Mdm Chan's sleep-inducing voice to get what she's saying, it's actually pretty useful.

did work at the bleachers with Lilin, Crystal and Ann, who were staying back for their CCAs.
after crystal left, the sherwin-5000 group came, claire and joyce stayed to talk and do some work while Denice and Rachel went for interact.
ann left for badminton, Lilin left for CF and i decided to go for dinner with the sherwin group.
the hockey girls were having fitness training in school, i'd have joined them but didn't know about it till today. Hockey has a little unrest, i don't know much about it but i hope it dosen't affect the team's togetherness.
had dinner at subway, then i went home while sherwin-5000 went to dee's house to do their project.

haven't baked this whole week.
i feel like eating prata tomorrow. i'll probably be too lazy to go down to RK House to get it though. Can you believe there are no indian/prata stalls in the four coffeshops around my place?
this hotel in Malacca actually serves frozen prata.(so does the prata stall in school!) yuck i hate frozen prata. it's flat, dense and chewy and has an artificial butter taste.
and that hotel has the guts to offer egg prata, which is simply a sunny side up plopped on.

Fun-O-Rama post!
it was really, really fun. although most of us (the class) had to work our asses off at the stalls.
we didn't come up with rosters, so we just came and went whenever and it worked perfectly, anyway.

okay the day before i was cooking spaghetti for 2 hours, only had to cook four packets but it turned out to be a lot. think it filled two rice bins.
then when we met the next day, we had a ton of spaghetti because DT asked us to cook 67 packets!! we were commenting and he was like "couldn't you tell i was being sarcastic?"
lol it didn't even occur to us, because we were so busy the week before funorama, trying to get the banners done and the duties distributed. He estimated 67 packets, so we just took it.
he has a wierd sense of humor that we don't get sometimes.

needless to say we ended up with a (smaller) ton of spaghetti by the end of funorama, gave some to the cleaners, took some home and dumped the rest.

we met at the stalls in the morning, started unpacking all the food and trying out the first few cups of oreo milkshake, learning how to prepare the spaghetti and stuff like that. we didn't have any problems, only that we were short of a second icebox, in the end we just dumped everything into the only icebox we had and left it half open.

when the funfair first started, business was average.
and then we had a funny trend, like suddenly everyone wants an oreo milkshake and we prepare them nonstop, then it changes to lots of orders coming in for italian soda, and then for spaghetti, like that.

we ran across shortages and had funny solutions, first we ran out of cups in the middle of the day, so we had to start serving oreo milkshakes in bowls.
then we finished the sago and fruit syrup, so we combined the cut fruit and sprite just to use them up and apparently people like it.

the games stall was doing pretty well too, we know people know they're getting scammed but they still play. in the end no one won the PSP, i think the most no. of cans someone knocked down was 15 out of 18.

i met lots of ex-crescentians and some juniors too, so it was quite heartwarming.
I didn't meet Yingliang! she came, but i was queing up for Haunted House when she arrived, and she didn't want to come, so i actually was going to meet her after the Haunted House, but she already left :(

anyway, janet chua came with wt! i didn't know she was coming, i did ask her to buy tickets from me and she said she would if i bought her school's concert tickets, which i refused.
in the end she told me she bought from Kenneth, her tuition friend who turns out to be my classmate. argh!
anyway she called at about 12, said she was at my class' games stall. walked around with her and wt for about an hour, after which i felt really bad about not helping my class so i left them when they went for cheese dogs.
they're such scammers! they bought balloons from Li Ting at 3 for $2, and then they got bored of them and sold off one to denice sit for $1!

we went around trying to sell the other two, then bumped into Li Ting again, who was desperately selling meatballs this time. we tried to trade in the balloons for the meatballs but she didn't allow. HAHA then we went to find Krystle and sold one off to Timothy, who tied it on to his specs. They felt bad about scamming him and tried to buy it back, but couldn't, so wt gave him the last one.

They met up with some dance juniors but couldn't find Lydia, who was in the Haunted House. Jan's very mean, she keeps making jokes about people who can do Haunted House without makeup on.

Walked past my class' games stall again and saw Grace attending to a long queue and felt bad, so I decided to help out. Helped out with three people and got pressured into looking for cheese dogs with wt and jan. The food stall needed even more help so I started making oreo milkshakes, at the time when the orders for them were coming in like crazy, so I couldn't leave the food stall and jan and wt went off on their own.

After almost half an hour of making oreo milkshakes non-stop Rowena called to say she and Grace managed to jump queue at Haunted House so I went to join them cos I really wanted to visit the Haunted House.
Even though we jumped queue we had to wait like 20 mins to go in.
Actually the Haunted House was more funny than scary, I was genuinely scared by the girl in the white dress crawling on the floor, though. Though it wasn't scary we screamed a lot, and I walked out with a slight sore throat.

It rained halfway but cleared up after half an hour, our food stall made lots of business while it was raining cos everyone was running to the void deck.

Went to the hall with Denice to take a look at the AC merchandise stall. We both got the red waterbottle, it was actually $10 but Denice bargained for $8, hahaha. So the guy made the purchase quick and after that Denice realised he actually took $11. Cos he took her $3 off the table and stretched out his hand for another $5, but dee gave him $8. Haha, she got scammed again!

Went to visit DT at the food booth and he gave us lollipops.
Returned to our food stall to serve the last few customers until some teacher came to force us to stop selling.
Went to wash the blenders with Rachel but realised none of us brought soap! Initially used dee's shower cream from sa1's game stall but the two girls next to us at the sink shared their Jif with us.
Cleaned up, took a class picture with DT and called the class dinner off cos it was late and all of us were tired and had stuff to lug home.
We're celebrating our Fun-O-Rama success with a class lunch on half-day Monday! (anywhere, anywhere but Seoul Garden please!)

Went for dinner at Subway with Winnie, Rachel, Grace, Lilin and Eugene. I was pretty surprised Lilin had dinner with us so late. Well it's good cos I shared a cab home with her after that.
I didn't eat though, wasn't hungry after all.
Anyway, we lapsed into another religious conversation.
A few questions were cleared. Lilin was telling me that she was sure that the people in our class who keep raising their doubts about God will get it one day, because they're truly hungry for Him, like they make an effort in actually thinking and searching.
It's a touchy and complex topic, and we know that faith is the answer, but even that is hard to understand.

Okay end of day.

The day before, after setting up our stalls and before going home to prepare the food, I went with Grace to look for the Sunset Way ice cream shop.
Couldn't find it, so we went to this cafe instead. She was telling me about her econs tuition and it sounds great, and it's like really near my house. I should go 'cos I'm learning nothing from Mdm Chan in econs tutorial, I don't know why.
I want to check it out tomorrow, but something's stopping me :(

♥Saving Jane! I think their music is super.
I'm quite slow to discover cool bands.

Fun-O-Rama's over=start seriously studying for A's.
